By using ArtStudy you agree to these terms.

What ArtStudy is

ArtStudy is an educational and entertainment game for learning to recognize painters and art styles. The daily round, the painter and movement pages, and the leaderboard are free. An optional subscription, the Museum Pass, unlocks endless rounds, lessons and deeper comparisons. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, and may change or be unavailable at times.

Accounts

Signing in is optional and exists only to save your own progress. Keep your sign-in method secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. You can request account deletion from the avatar menu, subject to the billing checks in our Privacy Policy: accounts with a billing record are currently blocked from self-service deletion until any subscription has actually ended, any unfinished Checkout has expired, and billing status has been verified. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription; contact support@artstudyfun.com for help.

When you create an account, we store the email address from your sign-in method (Google, Apple, X, or the email you enter) to secure your account and send one-time login codes and, only if you tick the box at sign-up, occasional streak reminders and product news. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We don’t sell your email or share it for others’ marketing.

New accounts have a public player profile by default. Your chosen display name, account photo where available, leaderboard position and game statistics can appear on the public leaderboard and player page; you can make the profile private at any time in Profile. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions & payments

The Museum Pass is an optional upgrade. It unlocks endless rounds beyond the daily ten, the lessons on painters you mix up, deeper friend comparisons and personal history. The daily round, inviting friends, friend challenges and the basic friends preview stay free for everyone, with or without a Pass.

You can earn one free month of the Pass by inviting 3 friends who sign up through your referral link and each finish a round. It is available once per account, and access ends when that month does unless you subscribe. Passes earned this way before 15 September 2026 remain permanent.

Where a paid Pass is offered, the price is 2.99 USD, 2.99 EUR or 2.99 GBP per month, according to the currency available at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe; we set each currency price ourselves and do not use Adaptive Pricing. Checkout shows the currency and the amount before you confirm. A subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel through Manage subscription on /pass. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. A failed payment does not extend access beyond the period already paid for. Prices may change for future periods, with notice where required.

For refund requests, payment disputes, or exercising any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right, contact support@artstudyfun.com. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

Images and attribution

Painting reproductions are shown for educational purposes and come from Wikimedia Commons (public-domain and freely-licensed works) and from museum open-access collections including the Art Institute of Chicago and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Rights to each image remain with its source under its respective licence; ArtStudy claims no ownership of the artworks.

Acceptable use

Please don’t abuse the service — no automated scraping, attempts to overload it, or misuse of challenge links, referral links or the leaderboards. Accounts exist to save your own progress; referral rewards are for real friends who actually play, and we may withhold a reward earned through fake accounts.

Liability

ArtStudy and its authors are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, nor for the accuracy of attributions, titles, or descriptions (which are drawn from third-party data and may contain errors). Spotted a mistake or have a question? Write to support@artstudyfun.com.
